Animal Communication

"I believe that the communication with Cherrie helped Pan (a very ill Arab-cross rescue horse) find a new level of trust and also helped him make the choice to do his best to recover both physically and spiritually. It is my belief that Cherrie is an incredibly talented animal communicator and that her skill brings a vital missing piece to our relationships with our animal companions." Cindy Wheeler

I have worked professionally for over 25 years communicating with numerous species. Communicating intuitively with animals means mentally sending and receiving thoughts, images, feelings and emotions. Animals are masters at intuitive communication. They talk to each other intuitively and are able to intuitively 'sense' people and the environment very well.

I am passionate about giving animals a voice—about being a spokesperson for those who cannot speak for themselves.

How many news stories have you seen and read about an animal who exhibited extraordinary knowingness and performed, what would be considered, human-like-behavior to assist or get help for their owner or someone in need? Animals are not just “stupid pets” exhibiting only Pavlovian traits. Animals, and all life forms, have a mind and can communicate at some level.

One only needs to look at how rapidly our old antiquated belief systems are shown to be inaccurate. Scientists have even proven that plants “feel” and commutate with each other. Is it such a giant leap to accept that animals can think and, not only communicate between each other, but communicate to those humans who have the ability to perceive their level of energy?

Communicating with your pet opens up a whole new world yet to be explored. Everyone benefits—not just the human, but the animal as well. For the human, you have the opportunity to ask questions about their health, behaviors, issues, likes and dislikes. For the animal, they finally get the opportunity to be heard. In this process, they can begin to understand their environment and what is required of them.

You will be astounded as to how readily your pet can pick up on the emotional and physical stress they encounter from both their human family, but also other animals they associate with. Once there is this common understanding, inappropriate behavior, health issues and emotional reactions can start to resolve.

I believe that once we truly communicate between the species, we experience firsthand the inter-connectedness of all life and we honor and respect all fellow sentient beings. We innately understand how we were meant to co-exist and live in harmony on this earth.

My role with you and your pet is to serve as a “translator” as it were. Sessions generally fall into five categories, but may overlap:
  • General Check-in – This involves general Q & A regarding health, well-being and specific questions you may have for your pet.
  • Emotional or Physical Trauma – This involves more extensive time to access and resolve traumatic situations your pet has experienced.
  • Behavioral Challenges – Where your animal is exhibiting undesirable behavior and you want to understand why this is occurring and how it can be resolved.
  • Health Challenges – This involves working with your pet to isolate specific areas where issues are occurring and planning a strategy to bring the animal back to a healthful state.
  • Deceased Pet – This session allows you to connect with a pet you have lost in order to identify such things as physical or emotional cause of death and discuss unresolved issues.
"Our work has been in equine rescue where Cherrie has revealed remarkable insights about the animals that, when acted upon, deliver results well beyond what I have seen in my 45 years of equine experience. While you and I can’t hear the communication (no Mr. Ed here), the reaction of the animals, and the ensuing improvement in behavior and health, speak for themselves. As someone who considered themselves a seasoned equine veteran, I had to acknowledge that the changes were absolutely remarkable! I can’t thank Cherrie enough for getting me past ‘what should be’ to ‘what is’ as seen from the perspective of the animals"....Dr. Jennifer Cole

Acupuncture is a component of traditional Chinese medicine that originated in China over 5,000 years ago. It is based on the belief that living beings have a vital energy, called "qi", that circulates through twelve invisible energy lines known as meridians on the body. Each meridian is associated with a different organ system. An imbalance in the flow of qi throughout a meridian is how disease begins.
Acupuncturists insert needles into specified points along meridian lines to influence the restore balance to the flow of qi. There are over 1,000 acupuncture points on the body.
There are numerous theories about how acupuncture works. Some of them are:
  • acupuncture stimulates the release of pain-relieving endorphins
  • acupuncture influences the release of neurotransmitters, substances that transmit nerve impulses to the brain
  • acupuncture influences the autonomic nervous system
  • acupuncture stimulates circulation
  • acupuncture influences the electrical currents of the body

Body ReBalancing

This involves the skillful application of bodywork techniques to promote harmonious life functions. With intuitive sensitivity, the practitioner’s hands locate and help to free blocked energy caused by distress on any level.
With gentle yet penetrating therapeutic touch, free-flowing balanced energy movement is restored as the body’s natural self-healing powers are stimulated. Physical manipulations, gentle stretching, light reflex contacts and hand movements of the body comprise much of the Body ReBalancing art form.
After an energetic assessment has been done and the systems in the body aligned, the body is asked to hold on to physical wholeness and structural correctness until the body can do so on it’s own. The body is asked “do you remember this wholeness?”and then “can you hold it?”. The session is complete when the memory of alignment is assimilated it the structure.

GQ the dog
GQ and Owner
"In January at some local dog shows it was noticed (and commented on) that my dog GQ was doing something strange with his rear/ pelvis area when he was standing.  In addition he was not moving out in the ring with his great foot timing that he usually had.  Cherrie had seen the dog in the past and stopped me in the grooming area and asked if I would like her to take a look at him.  We put him on a table and she quickly determined that he had two vertebrae out of alignment which she was able to ‘pop’ back in and a sore knee and front shoulder.  Over the next three days she treated him with acupuncture and each day we saw improvement.  She took the time to come to the ring to watch him and see what he was doing and that helped her decide what she needed to attend to next.  We have continued to travel to see her for treatment and I have seen the return of the dog I love to watch move about the yard.  She also determined that a recent food switch was not working well and gave me a few ideas about foods that may work better.  The overall change in GQ has been wonderful and we will continue to see Cherrie for routine body work."
